This black and white is from my trip to the Adirondacks this summer, Eagle Lake. The only thing better than painting this lake would have been to explore it in a kayak.
I hope I am back to painting and posting. 2009 was a long and difficult year. 2010 is looking up, thanks to family and friends!

There is something about this painting which makes me feel that unknown possiblities lie just beyond the next outcropping of trees. Makes me want to explore new territory - especially that of time-yet-to-unfold. A perfect portal to a new decade... love it!
