New Monotypes in Oil

Happy New Year!

I am taking some time to experiment making monotype prints using acrylic paint.  All three of these were done with Golden Open acrylic paints.  The first was printed on my favorite paper, Rives BFK. The other two were printed on Arches 88. 

 

Merry Christmas

I am experimenting with mono types using acrylic paint.  As is often the case with new attempts, there was an earlier point where the image was much more interesting.  But of course, I thought I could fix one little thing, "You should have seen the fish that got away."
