Who Could Pass Up The Opportunity

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to go back to school and use the "big presses". I renewed some old friendships, talked shop and got waited on hand and foot by a new crew of graduate students at OSU. What a fun, but exhausting day. And I created some images I like from a small nocturne that was done in upstate New York.

After a long, long stretch of oil painting it is invigorating to change size and media.

This is 12" x 12" on Rives BFK.  No official title yet.

A Monoprint for a Rainy Spring Day

I think this print evokes the mood of the weather we have been having lately. Kind of gray, overcast with a touch of spring in the yellows and greens. This is on Hosho, 3"x4".

A Mono Print For Spring

Here is a Mono Print for Spring.  It is heavy on the R & F Pigment Sticks. These color sticks are almost pure color and a dream to work with.  This print is approximately 3" x 4", printed on Hosho paper, a very fine Japanese paper, soft and translucent.
